EXPLAINING MY RATES

PER HOUR
My rates for time to install, mend, fix, repair or bring back the broken to life starts from £82.50 per hour. For more complex and technical projects rates start from £110.
My work is guaranteed to be done right. My promise is that if you find a problem with the craftsmanship after I leave, simply give me a call and I'll come back and fix it.

FIRST HOUR AND BUFFER TIME
I charge the same rate for the first hour (min £82.50), but this often includes prep, carrying stock, tools and planning before I can do the job immediately.

I buffer a min of 30 mins between all jobs to ensure a job is finished, enable for extra's and travel.

MATERIALS
I recharge all materials at cost +10% (receipts are supplied on request). The charge is for research time, admin and quality checking on delivery. I take responsibility for items being ready for fitting.

If you prefer, we agree on what needs to be purchased and you can buy everything needed directly but you will need to check for damage as I might need to re-visit to complete, which will incur additional charges.

If you have fixtures or materials already we are very happy to use them if they are of the quality we would use.
WASTE AND RUBBISH
removal and safe disposal
Just about every job generates waste. If you are happy for us to put your waste into your recycling bins, we will and it will not be changed. We cannot put everything in as it is too large or it is not judged as "household" waste.

If we remove waste and dispose of it, your waste has to be treated as commercial waste and we have to pay for it, which we add as a line item per KG. We will try to estimate this in quotes.

We bring heavy-duty waste bags that are reusable and as a small business, we can pay to use Amersham

EARLY STARTS AND WEEKENDS
Recognising that we all have different hours, jobs and requirements. Sometimes jobs need to be planned and done outside of working hours. Min charge out is £120

CRAFT, DESIGN AND CREATE
My rates for bespoke projects, renovation and repair start from £380
You are looking for a cabinet to fit a gap you cannot buy off the shelf. It is that something that will be special and finish a space.
A DAY TO SORT EVERYTHING
You probably have a long to-do list and would prefer just a day to get as much done as possible. Including planning and preparation, an onsite rate starts from £600
FIXED PRICE FOR LOVED AND PRECIOUS ITEMS
Restoring, re-imaging and repairing old electronics and electrical items. Because these are loved and their value is in the memory, these jobs never make economic sense. Therefore I offer a fixed price upfront, irrespective of what is found or discovered. Pricing ranges from £250 (min) to £800 (max) for work I take on.
You may want a faithful restoration, made to look new or a modern twist on an old shell. Happy to do anything
